Loan Application Specialist

Job Description: Dominion Financial Services (DFS) is a single-family investment real estate mortgage originator. DFS originates two main loan products – a short-term bridge loan for fix & flip investors, and a long-term rental loan for landlords growing their rental portfolios. DFS is thriving in the current competitive environment and shows aggressive quarterly growth. Our current origination volume is $100MM per month. DFS is looking for a Loan Application Specialist to help support our growing team. Maintain and audit a variety of spreadsheets and report any exceptions to management. Contact borrowers, investors, insurance companies on an ongoing basis to help ensure loans close on time. Obtain reports need for verification purposes from third party sites. Maintain a filing system for open and closed loan files to allow all employees to easily find files without assistance. Create borrower files and ensure the documents added are correctly titled. Complete additional administrative tasks assigned by management in a timely manner. Requirements 3-5 years of administrative experience – Preferably in the Financial industry. Experience maintaining and updating detailed electronic filing systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Other Qualifications Include Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Technically savvy with the ability to pick up new systems quickly. Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills. Applicants must be a self-starter.
