Job Description:
MetLife is seeking a part-time Live Chat Officer to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a work-from-home position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:- Engage with customers through live chat to provide information, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner- Utilize a variety of software applications to multitask and manage customer interactions effectively- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer inquiries are addressed efficiently- Maintain a positive and energetic attitude while delivering excellent customer service- Meet and exceed performance goals related to response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction- Stay informed about company products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers- Adhere to company guidelines and procedures for handling sensitive customer data- Assist in training new team members and sharing best practices for live chat communication
Requirements:- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Experience in customer service or a related field- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment- Proficiency in typing and navigating online platforms- Energetic and resilient personality traits- Project management and presentation skills- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
