Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Live Chat Manager to join our team at GrubHub, a leading food delivery platform based in San Francisco, California. This is a full-time remote position at a mid-to-senior level, requiring a minimum of 6 years of experience in customer service or a related field.

As a Live Chat Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our live chat operations, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include managing a team of live chat agents, monitoring performance metrics, and providing coaching and feedback to improve customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize the live chat experience and drive customer engagement.

In addition to your managerial duties, you will be expected to handle escalated customer inquiries, resolve complex issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our live chat platform. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and emotional intelligence are essential for success in this role.

Requirements:- 6+ years of experience in customer service or a related field- Proven track record of successfully managing a team of live chat agents- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with customers- High level of emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm under pressure- Motivated and resourceful with a strong attention to detail- Experience with live chat software and customer relationship management systems- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
