Live ATM Bankers provide high quality personalized banking services while assisting customers with account transactions and requests received via the Live ATM.This position will build relationships with customers utilizing the Live ATM and identify service and sales opportunities.The position will process banking transactions in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer service in order to identify and understand customer banking needs.• Greet every customer in a timely manner through the Live ATM.• Use a computerized system for customer verification, gathering relevant information to complete transactions, validating information and processing transactions, such as, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and check cashing.• Perform end of day balancing according to procedures. Adhere to security, audit, and compliance requirements.• Collaborate with other members of the retail banking team to increase service and sales as well as enhance the overall customer experience using the Live ATM's.• Actively cross-sell Mercantile products and services.• Ability to establish a rapport and build relationships through a virtual environment.• Take complete ownership of every interaction whether it requires a call back, extended research, or assistance from other departments.• Research and resolve complex customer service issues.• Educate customers on the use of Live ATMs and provide technical support while utilizing the video banking technology.• Maintain current knowledge of financial products, services, and delivery methods utilized by Mercantile Bank.• Work with multiple software programs to complete transactions, and potentially communicate with more than one customer simultaneously.• Represent the bank in a courteous and professional manner.• Understand and utilize alternative banking channels. Offer channels to meet the customers changing banking needs.• Order debit cards, ATM cards, check copies, and statements when requested.• Utilize technology for lead generation, profiling, use consultative servicing and selling to enhance relationships.• Work as a team player to assist co-workers and managers in completing daily department tasks and responsibilities.• Comply with all laws, regulations, bank policies, and procedures.• Complete all required training on time.• Other job functions may be determined and required from time to time.
Requirements
• Must be able to operate a 10 key calculator, typewriter and computer keyboard.• A two-year college degree and 1-3 years of experience in customer service, call center, financial industry/banking or training environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
