LHH is currently recruiting a Litigation Paralegal for a large, regional law firm client in Raleigh, NC. The litigation paralegal will assist assigned attorneys in the firm u2019s business litigation practice. Firm offers a competitive salary and a positive and respectful work culture. Responsibilities
Composing, transcribing and editing of correspondence, discovery documents, pleadings, motions and other materials
Maintain and monitor docket and court deadlines
Electronically file documents with the courts
Collection of high-volume of documents for cases, including organization, redaction, and indexing
Assist attorney with preparation for trial
Legal research using a variety of databases and PACER
Qualifications
Minimum of five years of litigation experience, handling large and complex cases
Bachelor u2019s degree preferred
Paralegal certification and/or NC Certification preferred
Comfortable with all aspects of docketing
Experience in all phases of the litigation process
Strong knowledge of and experience in eDiscovery
Digital War Room experience preferred
Knowledge of court procedures and rules in federal and state courts
Proficiency in legal research platforms
Strong project and case management skills
Excellent legal research skills, including utilization of online resources and subscriptions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
