Linux (Red Hat) Administrator Needed!
We are looking for a candidate who is familiar with Linux system administration to perform maintenance and upgrades on a small installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) workstations. The ideal candidate would be available to perform work on-site. You will be working for a global organization who manufactures premier products.
What Do You Need to Be Successful? Linux system administration. Preferred Red Hat experience (a minimum of 3 years' experience). Excellent communication skills. Install and configure Red Hat operating system on PC hardware or virtual machine. Apply Red Hat subscriptions to individual workstations. Address network and firewall issues. Resolve Samba and automount issues. Communicate with the IT department to obtain necessary information and resolve issues. Answer questions and explain topics as needed. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity in Shakopee, Minnesota.
Pay Rate is between $35.00 - $41.00 per hour. * Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
