DescriptionTeam Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, islooking to hire outstanding Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineman for our Columbus, Ohio office. Aerial Telecom Linemanwill handlenew business projects within our Telecom Constructiondivision.
Responsibilities
Planning and Initiating Projects
Establishing OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements
Setting Poles
Maintaining and Repairing Overhead Fiber Optic Facilities
Installing New Strand and Lashing Fiber
Installing and Maintaining Down Guys, Overhead Guys, etc.
Building Risers, Installing Snow Shoes/Slack Coils
Tree Trimming
Lineman Requirements & Qualifications
Must have 1+ year experience in the industry
Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the Akron/Cleveland area
Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
Valid CDL-A is strongly desired
Bilingual English/Spanish experience is a plus Team Fishelwill provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
