The Line Cook PM Position at New Albany Country Club is a full-time, hourly hospitality/restaurant job located in New Albany, Ohio. This individual contributor role requires a skilled and experienced line cook who is passionate about creating high-quality dishes and providing an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen and a passion for culinary excellence.Compensation & Benefits:This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $18 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly. Additionally, employees are eligible for benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook dishes according to club recipes and standardsEnsure that all dishes are cooked and presented to the highest standards of quality and freshnessMaintain a clean and organized workspace, following all food safety and sanitation guidelinesCollaborate with the kitchen team to create daily specials and menu itemsMonitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure appropriate stock is available for preparationAssist with the training and development of new kitchen staff membersFollow all kitchen opening and closing procedures, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintainedKeep up-to-date with industry trends and new cooking techniquesCommunicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth flow of serviceRequirements:Previous experience as a line cook in a professional kitchenKnowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelinesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at onceStrong knife skills and understanding of various cooking techniquesFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededExcellent communication and teamwork skillsCulinary degree or certification is a plusEEOC Statement:New Albany Country Club is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive work environment.
