Responsibilities
• Prepare menu items according to Applebee's Recipes, Plate Presentations, and specifications• Complete assigned prep work• Set up workstation according to station diagram• Practice sanitary and safe food handling• Clean and sanitize the work area• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects
Requirements
• Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow• Ability to place plates, utensils, pans, and cases on high and low shelves• Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required• Ability to use knives, slicing equipment, and other food preparation equipment• Mobility required during the entire shift• Ability to transport cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day• Ability to respond in emergency situations• Physical demands include navigating the restaurant, moving and grasping items up to five pounds, occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, and bending and stooping• Adequate vision to discern cleanliness and operate a touchscreen• Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities
