Responsibilities:
Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide warm and professional customer service to all visitors entering the court premises, creating a welcoming environment for everyone.
Administrative Support: Handle various administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and word processing to maintain efficient office operations.
Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation and processing of legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
Legal Research: Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases, aiding attorneys and judges in their decision-making processes.
Record Management: Maintain meticulous records and files, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible when needed.
Calendar Management: Schedule court hearings and manage court calendars efficiently, ensuring timely and organized proceedings.
Courtroom Assistance: Assist attorneys and judges during court proceedings, facilitating the smooth flow of legal proceedings.
Document Distribution: Prepare and distribute court orders and other legal documents accurately and promptly.
Communication: Manage correspondence and effectively communicate with parties involved in cases, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
Administrative Proficiency: Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software and word processing.
Customer Service Excellence: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Legal Knowledge: Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation is preferred.
Court System Familiarity: Familiarity with court systems and processes is an advantage.
Organization and Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
Multitasking Ability: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
