The Legal Administrative Coordinator supports the Labor & E m ployment and Labor Administrative T eam wh ich facilitates and administers Collective Bargaining Agreements, Work Rules, Labor Policies, and Labor Strategy while advocating the Company's interests in grievance proceedings and meetings with labor unions . The Legal Administrative Coordinator oversee s personnel matters, and office/facility matters, and serves as the administrative support needed for the Legal Department . This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week.?The Department designates the specific three days of the week Employees must work on-site. Responsibilities Support various Department projects as appropriate and needed for the successful completion of department initiatives Assist and coordinate with internal resources and outside suppliers as needed to complete department projects Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals Assist in completing and submitting expense reports and invoice billing, as requested Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail or other materials and answer routine letters Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management?database?systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work Prepare agendas and make arrangements, such as coordinating catering for luncheons, and for committee, board, and other meetings Open new matters in Legal tracking system May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources Knowledge of principles and processes for providing Customer and personal services, including Customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of Customer Satisfaction Skilled in understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Ability to come up with unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem Ability to shift back and forth between two or more activities or sources of information, including speech, sounds, touch, or other sources Education Required: High School Diploma or GED Experience Preferred: K nowledge of administrative/clerical procedures and systems such as managing files and records Entry level experience, developing skills and knowledge in: Administration/coordination of projects, programs, and events Licensing/Certification N/A Physical Abilities Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job Other Qualifications Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines Must be able to travel occasionally Pay & Benefits: Competitive market salary from $49,500 per year to $55,000 per year* depending on qualifications and experience.
