The YSU Department of Psychological Sciences & Counseling is seeking a candidate for a full-time faculty Lecturer position in the Psychology Program. This program offers a BA in Psychology with over 300 majors. The position is a 9-month, renewable, non-tenure track appointment with the expectation of teaching 15 hours per semester (5 undergraduate level psychology courses) during each Fall and Spring semester.  
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Ability to contribute to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the University community through teaching.

Work Schedule:  Typically, Monday through Friday, including some evenings, and the possibility of some weekend days.
Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures:  None


Minimum Qualifications:  At least an earned master's degree in psychology or another related area (e.g. counseling, school psychology). Ability to teach a variety of courses in the program including own specialty area.  Prior teaching experience in a variety of modalities and class formats including on-line asynchronous classes . 


Preferred Qualifications:  Earned doctoral degree in psychology or another related area (e.g. counseling, school psychology).
