The Leave & Accommodation Nurse is responsible for determining approvals and denials for return-to-work leaves for Novant Health team members. This role has accountability for data collection to appropriately assist team members return back to work as quickly as possible, which involves speaking directly with Novant Health leaders and team members. This position is responsible for all facilities under the Novant Health organization including physician practices. At Novant Health, one of our core values is diversity and inclusion. Education : 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Graduate from an accredited school of nursing , required.
Experience : 2 years Human Resources leave process management experience, preferred. Licensure / Certification / Registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Additional skills required: Must be able to work independently, analyze data, and problem solve with minimal direct supervision, performs various duties within an interdisciplinary team while sharing various tasks with licensed and non-licensed staff members. Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, Access, Excel and type 45 words per minute.
