Responsibilities
• Assist Property Manager with leasing affordable housing units• Verify information for initial eligibility and perform annual reviews• Determine correct tenant rent calculations• Coordinate orientation of new tenants• Perform general office duties and clerical tasks
Requirements
• High school diploma• 2 years of clerical experience• Typing skill of at least 30 words per minute• Familiarity with database management software and telephone etiquette• Prior experience as a leasing agent in affordable housing industry preferred• Knowledge of SLHA property occupancy policies and lease provisions• Knowledge of modern office practices, typing, grammar, and data entry• Organizational and time management skills• Ability to meet with prospective tenants and interview for verification• Ability to maintain accurate and complete tenant files• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing• Ability to address tenant complaints and concerns• Ability to perform general office tasks and maintain records• Ability to work collaboratively in a teamwork environment• Must have and maintain a current driver's license and be insurable
