Instructional Developer Advisor

Our work depends on Instructional Developer Advisor joining our team to support the Surface Combat Systems Training Command Aegis Training and Readiness Center in the designs and develops instructional approaches and interactive courseware to meet training requirements. Supports training and educational programs for sailors in support of Aegis Training and Readiness Center in Dahlgren Virginia and at SCSTC Learning Sites; Detachments; and other designated training locations. Primary responsibilities: provide analysis, development and maintenance of training systems in support of initial, replacement and conversion curricula. Courseware shall be prepared to encompass hands on, laboratory training and performance testing of trainees. Assist in the development of group-paced instructional materials for the Surface Combat System in accordance with Navy curriculum development standards and guidelines; advising Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on development procedures and formatting and evaluating curricula documents and instructional delivery procedures to include technical writing/editing of Navy documentation and curriculum. Specific responsibilities:
AN INSTRUCTIONAL DEVELOPER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Provide analysis, development and maintenance of training systems in support of initial, replacement, and conversion curricula. Courseware shall be prepared to encompass hands on, laboratory training, and performance testing of trainees. Training systems shall be integrated into the curricula where appropriate. The Contractor shall use Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) I, AIM II, or CPM/LOM or Government approved curriculum development tool. Prepare and deliver new training support materials for in-service courses including, but not limited to: Job sheets, assignment sheets, worksheets, test questions, lab materials, grading rubrics, and fault insertions. Provide Technical and Tactical Documentation Feedback Reports for discrepancies noted by Instructors. Prepare and deliver modifications to existing training materials as specified in the TPPs for course revisions, or through course changes, as defined by NAVEDTRA 130 (series). The Contractor shall develop the TPP for each course revision. Course changes shall be delivered in accordance with the NAVEDTRA Learning Standards Office Instructions and with the IP Learning Standards Office Instructions to Support Training requirements. The Contractor shall use AIM I, AIM II, or CPM/LOM or the Government approved curriculum development tool. Course revision deliverables shall consist of the following: Training Project Plan (TPP), Course Training Task List (CTTL), Personnel Performance Profile (PPP), Tables Training Path System (TPS), Preliminary Training Course Control Document (TCCD), Lesson Plan (LP), Trainee Guide (TG), Instructional Media Materials (IMM), Test Questions, Final Training Course Control Document (TCCD), Enabling Learning Objects (ELO), Terminal Learning Objects (TLO), Terminal Learning Object (TLO), Aggregations Topic Learning Objectives (TLO), Course Learning Objectives (CLO), Interactive Courseware (ICW), Simulations (SIM), Test Plan and testing materials Course Master Schedule (CMS). Participate in internal and external evaluation programs. Provide feedback and tracking of items for completion, conduct training analysis; and review the course safety plan. Provide information and recommendations and assist as Subject Matter Experts on Academic Review Boards. Participate in the pre and post factory meetings and pre and post pilot meetings. Coordinate internal quality control services with the International Programs' Disclosure and Releasability Representative, the Curriculum Integration Team, and with the IP LSO, in order to ensure adherence to Program Executive Offices' guidelines and International program's style guide.

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Scheduled Weekly Hours:
