Overview: Our organization is seeking a Learning Content Developer responsible for overseeing the production of learning assets, including e-learning modules, videos, and other multimedia resources. As part of a company that uses Agile practices, you will work in a cross-functional team, including Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to update learning materials, ensuring content is current and meets company style guide requirements. You will also assist the team with functional testing of learning and practice products outside and inside delivery systems to ensure quality standards are met. You will also work closely with stakeholders to identify learning needs, design solutions that align with organizational goals, and provide guidance to the Agile team to ensure high-quality learning solutions that are scalable, innovative, and aligned with industry best practices.
Job Description What you'll be doing:  Review and modify instructor-led training materials, online learning modules, simulations, job aids, exams, and other materials, to ensure standardized format, naming conventions, functionality, and interoperability between authoring applications. Edit written and graphic learning content with updates provided by SMEs conforming to company and team standards (Chicago Manual of Style, SAI Editorial Guidelines, and SAI Style Guide), including quality checks for accessibility and localization. Provide input to update our guidelines where necessary. Oversee the production of content using common and specialized media and authoring tools and systems that facilitate media organization, copy and copyright management, tagging, versioning, search, selection, and reuse of learning materials and media. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and design learning solutions that support organizational goals Define and lead online publishing and digital packaging processes, streamlining workflow and ensuring learning materials meet business and user-defined requirements. Maintain an in-house style guide, ensuring consistency and quality of learning product development across Agile teams Perform cross-platform functionality testing of end-to-end learning solutions, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Possess genuine curiosity to research and test new ways of achieving your tasks in ways that improve speed, automation, quality, and scalability. Recommend new innovations, and create documentation and templates that enable team members to adopt new ways of working.. Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions and make recommendations for improvement. Stay current with learning technologies and trends and make recommendations for their use within the organization. Qualifications Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on instructional design and learning technology Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style Experience developing and/or contributing to in-house style guides Knowledge of learning technologies and platforms, including LMS, authoring tools, and learning analytics Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members at all levels of the organization Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience guiding and mentoring colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives Competencies: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify needs and design effective solutions Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and completeness of learning solutions Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and team members Ability to work independently and take initiative Location: We proudly support a collaborative remote environment for our globally distributed teammates, while also using our Boulder office as a resource.
Compensation:  Scaled Agile is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The target salary range for this role is $70,000- $83,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
Employees of Scaled Agile are also compensated with a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, optional insurance products including identity protection and pet insurance, 401K with a match, flexible paid time off, company-paid sabbatical after six years of service, bonus plan, and equity options.
