Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionJob Description SummaryTheGE VernovaLean & Quality Operations Leaderwillreport directly to the GE Vernova Lean & Quality Leader and will driveprocess excellence through lean principles and be accountable for creating and improving standard work for the Lean and Quality organization and Kaizen Promotion Office,KPO.This individual will serve as a thought and accountability partner to the GE VernovaLean & Quality Leaderand will proactively work tohelpoperationalize the strategic vision forthe GE Vernova Lean & Quality organization.This leader will also play an important role in enabling operational efficiencies across theKPO, Lean and Qualityleadership team and facilitating the team'sinternaloperating cadence. Similarly,theLean & Quality Operations Leaderwill work to drive synergies, with other GE Vernova functions to facilitate community stewardship and build cross-functional relationships that are essentialfordeploying the Lean Operating Method andimprovingenterpriseperformanceand transformation.Essential ResponsibilitiesLead KPO, Lean, Quality team operating cadence-Createan integrated planning and prioritization system for the team to help operationalize workstreams, prioritize initiatives, and drive action planand KPI execution.Track critical team milestones, action plans, risks and help needed.Support GE Vernova Lean & Quality Leader in lean talent management.Lean Operating Method Deployment– Develop executive planning cycle to organize the deployment of the lean operating method across functions, segments, and businesses aligned to other corporate planning cycles (e.g., budget and talent reviews). Operationalize Lean Operating Method training content and through clear communications and employee engagement.The Watt KPO content manager– The Watt is GE Vernova's intranet and platform for sharing information. The Lean and Quality Operations leader will ensure relevant Lean content is shared across the GE Vernova organization, providing visibility and information pertaining to the Lean Operating Method, company-wide Lean events, and Lean and Quality resources.Kaizen facilitation and project management– This individual will facilitate and support ad hoc kaizen facilitation across functions and businesses at various levels of the organization, as needed. They will also maintain kaizen tracking for the GE Vernova KPO (e.g., CEO Kaizen Week planning, execution, and outcomes).Build and lead GE Vernova Lean community of practice–Facilitate cooperation and build networkof lean leadersto identify opportunities to collaborate between teamsto identify andleveragegood-practices andprocesses across GEV to accelerate performance improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost.Establishcommunity of practice meeting cadence and structure (e.g., training and development, read across, etc.).Drive Management of Changepractices relating to lean content, processes, and employee engagement.Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.5-7 years ofexperience with lean, talent development, project management, quality,and KPI management.Prior leadershiprole or leadershipexperienceinaninfluencing role.Strong business acumen and cross-functional experience and awareness.Clear, concise, and effective communicator across all levels of the organization.Strong alignment with GE Vernova culture and values: Innovation, Customers, Lean, One team, and AccountabilityComfortable working in a matrix environment, influencing and motivating diverse teams to achieve a unified goal.Desired CharacteristicsBalances innovation with standard work rigor.Problem-solver who proactively identifies problems, works collaboratively to find solutions, and develops and executes action plans to drive impact across an organization.Prior leadership program experience, such as OMLP,DTLP,FMP, CAS/LTT.Strong project management and process improvement skills.Agile thinker motivated by curiosity; sees uncertainty and ambiguity as opportunities and iterates to innovate.If contracted in the US:The salary range for this position is 136,,300.00 - 227,000.00 USD annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 15% variable incentive compensation.
