AdventHealth Riverview
·
AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand-new hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 2024.
·
The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future.
·
This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care.
·
AdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services which includes emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women's care.
The role you'll contribute:
Responsible for the quality and efficiency of the US Department. Performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures. Maintains records of examinations performed. Obtains and documents patient clinical information as needed. Participates in standby call. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Assists in radiology department as needed. Responsibility to adhere to the Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies
The value you'll bring to the team:

Assures responsibilities for the patient flow and all other matters pertaining to patient care, ensures patient and employee safety.

Direct patient responsibility for geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patient care until the patient is returned to his/her room or until outpatient is discharged.
·
The technologist is directly involved in a variety of ultrasound procedures including biopsies, has an extensive experience with available ultrasound equipment in terms of product evaluation, troubleshooting and quality control.
·
Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other department and medical staff.
·
Recommends action necessary for improvement of the overall discipline and other actions regarding personnel.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
·
Associate and 2+ years experience
·
Must be ARDMS Registered
·
Must have at least 2 years of experience
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
·
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert
·
Amer Reg Diag Med Sonography
