YOUR ROLE
We're seeking top notch Lead Test Automation Engineer to manage our automation initiatives. As a tech-forward company, our customers count on us to provide stable and reliable software, and automated testing is critical to our reputation as a dependable service provider. You will play a key role in defining and unifying our automation capabilities by recommending, implementing, and improving both new and existing solutions. Ideal candidates should have a "take charge" attitude as your decisions and influence will directly contribute to our company's success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead automation initiatives for a distributed team of Automation Engineers in a matrixed model.
Implement an agile working model for automation development.
Define and oversee automated test strategy across test layers supporting multiple repos and integrated systems.
Creation of test data management strategy for the same.
Develop automated solutions to validate external partner integrations.
Coordinate with TechOps and lead CI/CD improvements.
Build automation utilized in a CI/CD pipeline across multiple test environments and by multiple development teams.
Maintain comprehensive automation documentation and reporting including test coverage, deliverable progress, run results, and automation effectiveness metrics.
Mentor team members on automation best practices.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years relevant experience testing scalable and functional applications.
Experience in technology companies and startups using open source technologies including Linux, Git, AWS, and modern development environments.
Familiarity with microservice architecture.
Familiarity with MVC architecture.

The national salary range for this role is $117,008 to $164,285. The expected starting salary range for this role at Bold Penguin is $129,368 to $157,500.
