Lead Product Controller Location Broomfield, CO : What it's about Partners Group's Product Control team is seeking to an analytical and experienced professional to join their staff as their new Lead Business Development Companies (BDC) Reporting Controller. The role will encompass three primary responsibilities: Reviewing and signing off on financial statements of our global private equity funds (including various SEC filings for US Private Wealth products), leading the financial reporting review process for our US based Private Wealth products, as well as assisting with the management of our audit process in alignment with dedicated Product Controllers.
Responsibilities:
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of SEC and other regulatory deliverables (NPORT, 10-K, 10-Q, etc)
Assist in execution, review, and implementation of monitoring controls, including SOX compliance, over accounting & operational deliverables, including the review of monthly accounting packages, and public filings with the Fund Admin of the BDC and other applicable funds
Become a subject matter expert in Business Development Companies (BDC)
Work with head of Product Control and other business units to design and implement financial and operational best practices to support the growth and evolution of the product
Assist third party partners associated with the BDC, including but not limited to the Audit firm, Fund Admin, and Custodian. This would include coordinating workflow and reviewing all deliverables
Proactively integrate and promote collaboration across various internal teams
Promote challenging and constructive dialogue with team members, as well as internal and external stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes
Support and develop the Americas Product Control team to achieve operational excellence
Lead business unit and department-wide process improvement initiatives
