Matts Rotisserie & oyster lounge in the Redmond Town Center is hiring for a talented and driven lead line cook! We are moving towards an upscale casual environment and are looking for someone with strong leadership abilities to join our team. This is someone who owns their position and isn t afraid to delegate and hold other line cooks accountable. We have a full service dining room for lunch and dinner 7 days a week as well as, a private event room and a wine room for smaller gatherings. You would be reporting directly to the Sous Chef.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Preparing minimal prep items for dinner service

- Delegating cleaning tasks to other line cooks during slow times

- Coordinating with sous chef to run dinner service

- Calling tickets when the sous chef is offline or working expo

- Checking out line cooks with PM closing check list

- Checking in with cooks at each station to ensure proper mise en place and stocking before service

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years kitchen experience with 1 year as lead cook and Expo experience

- Must be proficient in all stations and standard cooking techniques

- Must be able to read and follow recipes written in English

- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with other team members

- Must have a positive attitude and be able to lift their teammates and push forward when you re in the weeds

Benefits/ Pay

- $28/hr + Tips
