Responsibilities: Take charge of setting up and stocking the preparation station and kitchen. Expertly prepare various components of each menu item, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces. Follow precise instructions provided by the executive chef. Guarantee that food preparation and storage areas strictly adhere to health and safety standards. Maintain the cleanliness of the prep areas and handle leftovers appropriately. Manage inventory and supplies efficiently. Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen staff to ensure the perfect execution of menu items. Qualifications: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent qualification. Possess a certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field. Boast a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods. Excel in communication and organizational skills. Strong multitasking abilities are a must. Contribute positively as an efficient and cooperative team member. Showcase extensive experience in the fast-paced environments of busy restaurants.
