Your New Role As our Lead Estimator, you'll be the mastermind behind our project proposals. Your strategic thinking, sound judgment, and technical prowess will ensure our bids are competitive and precise. Here's what you'll be diving into:
Bid Strategies: Lead the Go/No-Go process, review bid packages, and prepare conceptual estimates and budgets. Project Estimates: Analyze civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and data specs to create accurate estimates. Communication: Collaborate with the Business Operations Manager to secure new business, and coordinate hand-off meetings with project teams. Management Skills: Develop efficient systems to meet our strategic goals, handle multiple demands, and adjust priorities as needed. Interpersonal Skills: Build strong relationships with project managers, foster teamwork, and champion new initiatives. What's in it for You? Joining Sundancer Electric means more than just a job. Experience in bidding heavy industrial, transportation, infrastructure, road work, and commercial. Must have demonstrated proficiency in all responsibilities of estimating. Must have demonstrated to do both conceptual estimating as well as take-off estimates. Bachelor's degree in electrical, construction management, or related field required or equivalent work experience. Eight (8) years of experience in estimating and conceptual estimating for projects $10 million dollars and larger is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Working knowledge of McCormick estimating software, preferred Must be authorized to work in the U.S. "We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
