Job Description SummaryTechnical ownership of an assigned airline's commercial engines fleets, while located at the customer's key maintenance base or headquarters.All activities relating to enhancing fleet performance and reliability, helping resolve technical issues impacting the fleet, own the technical customer relationship and attend commercial or high level discussions between GE and the customer. Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesOwnership of overall technical relationship for assigned aircraft engine fleet(s).Develop and maintain relationship with assigned customer and across the GE organization, able to influence key stakeholders to implement key reliability improvements or deliver on key special programs or projects.Support of installed engine base, including activities such as customer & fleet issue resolution, service bulletin implementation, fleet monitoring (diagnostics).Ownership of fleets reliability and on wing performance (e.g. significant events/UERs/D&Cs.)Manage critical items, collaborate with customer to lead other special programs (e.g. water/foam wash, derate optimization, etc.).Internal & external tech reviews & tech review prep, interface and influence the broader GE C&PSO organization to achieve set outcomes.Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.Capability to develop relationships with and influence customers to implement key reliability improvements, address customer notifications per recommended timing, and support other technical inquiries.Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Explains information, developing influencing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Fleet ManagementMinimum of 8 years of experience in Aviation/Aerospace3+ years of experience in Aircraft Fleet ManagementDesired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
