Job Description and Duties About this Role:
The ITS II is responsible for providing technical advice to DHCS program areas in the development, maintenance and organization of cloud based applications. This role requires the ability to design, develop and implement cloud solutions for the several existing applications supported by the section, which provides DHCS with greater flexibility to respond to the evolving needs of its customers. This individual will effectively develop latest technology solutions that strategically align to DHCS' business vision

Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
Knowledge of Microsoft .Net framework, .Net Core, Cloud Storage and Providers, Networking, Virtualization, Application Programming Interfaces (API), Containers, MS SQL Server 2015 and later versions, PostgreSQL, and Software Development. Strong project management and relationship management skills. Strong workload management capabilities. Adept at communicating with managers and staff at all levels.

Telework Information This position may be eligible for telework up to three days per
week and is required to report in-person and site-based a
minimum of two days per week. The amount of telework is at the
discretion of the Department and is subject to change consistent
with DHCS' Telework Program and Government Code sections
14200 – 14203. Telework is available to California residents, and
proof of residency may be required.
Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers
an employee's designated office and residence subject to
regulations and bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute
expenses to the reporting location will be the responsibility of the
selected candidate.
