About the Role: As the Lead Data Governance Analyst, you will inspire and promote adoption of the governance team vision and mission by collaborating with data stewards and tech leads across all divisions of OPIS to create a governance-centric culture. You will work closely with our broad data assets across the organization as we mature our enterprise governance program. You will provide thought leadership and management of key governance activities related to reference data and master data for our oil pricing business unit. You will report to the Director of Data Governance.
You Will: Discover, create and innovate new opportunities for data governance within the organization Leverage & develop existing taxonomies to improve data interoperability between lines of business Perform Semarchy frontend work and lead Reference & Master Data efforts to support our lines of business Perform internal assessments to ensure compliance to policies & standards for security, privacy, encryption, and others Apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to research technical lineage (ETL code) within applications to create a cohesive view of data transformations from source-to-target Recommend and create policies, processes, and best practices at the divisional level to ensure data quality, data governance, data lineage, data architecture, reference data, metadata and master data management program success Lead integration efforts to improve process and technology supporting data quality teams You Have: At least 4 years' data management and/or data governance experience Experienceidentifying and prioritizing governance needs to better serve customers Formulated complex workflow processes and relationship mapping across diverse datasets Business intelligence reporting and dashboard development experience Advanced SQL proficiency and conceptual knowledge of relational databases Google Suite, Power BI, and Excel Proficiency Familiarity with Data Management International ( body of knowledge Experience developing and coaching junior colleagues Experience with Semarchy and Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud platforms (preferred) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline (preferred) Our Benefits Comprehensive Healthcare Plans Paid Time Off Retirement Plans Comprehensive Insurance Plans Lifestyle programs & Wellness Resources Education Benefits Family Care Benefits & Caregiving Support Commuter Transit Program Subscription Discounts Employee Referral Program Learn more about all our US benefits

Pay Range: $50,000 - $180,000
