We have an exceptional opportunity for a Lead Connected Living Coordinator with a passion for high standards in healthcare services in a fast-paced setting.
The salary range is $18- $24 per hour based on experience. You will need to be available for weekend shifts. The Lead Connected Living Coordinator (Activities) supports providing an ongoing comprehensive program of activities to meet the needs and interests of residents. This role plays a crucial role in coordinating and facilitating engaging activities and events and overseeing the activities program, ensuring a diverse and stimulating range of offerings. They will also create a vibrant and enriching environment that promotes socialization, physical and cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., recreation therapy, gerontology, social work) is preferred Minimum of one to two years of experience in an activities or recreation role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing as applicable to their job responsibilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with residents, staff, and families Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop engaging and adaptive activities Ability to follow written and oral instructions Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and programming for older adults Familiarity with various crafts, games, and recreational activities Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed Basic computer skills for record-keeping and activity planning Patience, compassion, and a genuine interest in working with older adults Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision Benefits Culture makes all the difference in an organization.
