HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like: Document and accomplish the plan to implement Ransomware solution for the PEP project Perform lifecycle management for cloud databases to include upgrades, adjust capacity, and maintain infrastructure as code Work with application teams to automate version control for their databases On-call support for database engine(s) of expertise How you will collaborate with others: Work with cloud team to integrate within our cloud providers to complete the data requirements for all projects Work with other DevOps team members to keep infrastructure in the DBA team's repository and any other CI/CD integrations What projects you will take ownership of: PEP Ransomware PEP Serverless PEP Full service PEP Load testing WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT You have these minimum qualifications: Five (5) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field Three (3) years of work experience using leading NoSQL database engines (e.g. Couchbase/NoSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB) Travel up to 10% It would be useful if you have: Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus six (6)+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus twelve (12)+ years of Technology related experience Seven (7)+ years of professional experience in Technology or a related field You are a certified AWS engineer Experience in cloud databases preferably NoSQL WHAT IT IS LIKE WORKING FOR HILTON The future of hospitality is bright at Hilton: a leading global hospitality company with a diverse portfolio of world-class brands .
