Just Brunch in Duluth, GA is looking for an Experienced Lead Chef to join our team. Our ideal candidate is Professional, Reliable, Motivated, and Dependable.

Responsibilities Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Answer, report and follow executive chef's instructions Break down and clean up stations Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers The responsibilities listed in this job description are not intended to be all-inclusive. Qualifications/Skills Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook. (Brunch line cook experience is a plus) Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, allergies, ingredients, equipment and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes. Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed. Be tactful, courteous and able to communicate well with people. Have a positive attitude and be able to work in a team. Able to read, write and understand English. Must be dependable and be able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs Must work various holidays and have weekday and weekend availability.
