This position provides various operational and administrative support to Commencement Bay Cannabis retail business. The Budtender Lead position is responsible for assisting Store Management to ensure the day-to-day management of store operations are met and will perform as a Budtender as needed to ensure proper coverage.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIESProvide day to day assistance with Retail Operations in various functions of a Budtender Lead which may include performing cash drops for Budtenders, preparing change for Budtenders, cashiering, covering breaks for various employees and assisting with stocking/inventory as needed.Execute a customer first environment by providing first class service through honesty, integrity, and gratitude.Key holder responsibilities in charge of opening and/or closing store daily.Oversee and provide general support and knowledge of products to Budtender team.Schedule and communicate shift breaks and lunches amongst Budtender team.Assist management with daily online menu updates and to consistently check for inaccuracies and system errors.Provides main line of communication between Budtender team and Management.Drive repeat business through local networking and the loyalty program.Understanding of all PTCE Policies and Procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures.Knowledge of GreenBits and Inventory Processes (Adjustments, hiding products, attaching products, Counts, intake, samples, etc..)Assists with Daily Cash Sales by performing cash counts, documents daily drops and tips.Must be able to handle all confidential information in a professional manner and always maintain confidentiality.Ensure the staff and operation complies with applicable regulations and codes.Ensure daily operational tasks are completed timely and effectively.Ensure the cleanliness, presentation, and organization of the facility.Our commitment to customer service and the well-being of our team, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of administrative and field duties from time to time. Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for supervising store staff in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust be 21 years of ageMust be able to work nights, weekends, and holidaysPassion for and knowledge about CannabisMinimum 2 years customer service and Cannabis retail experience.Intermediate computer skillsIntermediate skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledgeable in Microsoft Office SuiteStore Management ExperienceEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or G.E.D.Customer service and Cannabis retail experienceLANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and other staff.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratio and percent and interpret graphs.REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in various forms and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSThis position is classified as a sensitive Tribal position. Therefore, applicant must submit to and clear a pre-employment criminal background check.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIESStrong customer service skills.Proficiency in multi-tasking.Time-management skillsEffective leadership and delegation skillsDecision making and problem solvingConflict resolutionKnowledge of all cannabis and its various uses.Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, customers, and vendorsPHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
