Position Overview:
This virtual/remote (home-based) role expands accessibility to our systemwide behavioral health program. As a member of our team, you'll directly contribute to patient care on an individual level.
Responsibilities:
Summary:
As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will deliver assessment and evidence-based care to individuals, families, and groups across diverse settings. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, you'll play a pivotal role in providing consultation and liaison services in emergency departments, inpatient units, and outpatient clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, triage, and manage patients with behavioral health concerns within various settings.
Provide patient education and develop tailored behavioral health change plans.
Conduct counseling, case management, and facilitate psychotherapy and educational groups.
Uphold therapeutic core conditions of genuineness, empathy, and positive regard in patient interactions.
Document risk management procedures and follow-up actions.
Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes and clinical supervision.
Maintain accurate and current patient documentation.
Recommend safety and quality measures for unit areas.
Act as a professional role model for staff, offering clinical expertise and support.
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Full-Time Opportunity (Monday to Friday, standard business hours, remote)
Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
NM LCSW or LPCC credentials
