Job Description Layer Production Worker Sonstegard Farms – Archer, IA
This position will assist in the care of layer birds, egg packaging, and cleaning.
$15.00+depending on experience.
Full-time, Day Shift. Weekends and Overtime!
How you'll spend your time: Accountable for proper packaging, sealing, labeling, and stacking of finished products. Responsible for overall equipment cleanliness and sanitation of production and barn areas. Observing product quality and reporting any problems immediately. Monitor water and feed. Check ventilation system in barns. Follow housekeeping standards. Proper documentation of records. Monitor pest control systems. Other duties as assigned. Perks: $15.00+depending on experience. Performance reviews after the first 90 days, 6 months, and annually. Paid holidays & 80 hours of PTO (accrued bi-weekly). Must be willing to work weekends and overtime. Basic reasoning and thinking skills. Manage multiple tasks and projects. Physical Requirements Lift products and materials ranging in weight from 20 – 50 lbs on a continuous basis. Repetitive grasping, twisting, pulling, and pushing.
