Laundry Worker

Position Summary: Responsibility to collect, sort, mark, wash, dry, fold, hang, press or sew, personal laundry for patients. Also responsible to deliver to patient's rooms and place in closet or dresser drawer. Responsible to keep working area clean and neat at all times. Notify supervisor of any equipment or supplies not up to standards .   Responsible for managing all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke's mission and values.  
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent  
Experience: Previous laundry work in a healthcare setting
