• Operate washing machines and dryers to clean residents' clothing and facility linens.• Follow proper laundry procedures and maintain a schedule to ensure a constant supply of clean linens.• Apply appropriate treatment to stained fabrics as required.• Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry to resident rooms and storage areas.• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.• Adhere to infection control and safety policies in all laundry practices.• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to manage linen inventory.
Requirements
• Experience with laundry operations, preferably in a healthcare setting.• Knowledge of laundry equipment and proper fabric care.• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.• Physical capability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.
