Laser Technician/Product Demonstrator

The Position: We are seeking a technician to demonstrate our SEI Laser product line to potential customers, as well as provide technical assistance on equipment at existing customer sites. This position will be primarily located in Connecticut but will require occasional travel to customer sites throughout North America.

About You: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
At least 5 years of mechatronic troubleshooting & service experience on printing and laser cutting machinery
Able to read mechanical, pneumatic and electric drawings
Trouble shooting experiences via PLC is required
Demonstrated ability to work independently and have good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of equipment
Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
Ability to pass security clearance required
German, Italian, Spanish language skill is helpful but not required
Ability to spend 6-8 weeks training at factories in Europe
