Position Summary:
Willamette University is currently accepting applications for the position of Spanish
Language Teaching Assistant at Willamette University. We are looking for an energetic
person, with strong Spanish language skills, who will be prepared to tutor our students,
and be an ambassador of her/his country and culture on campus. The position entails
15 hours/week for 30 weeks, following the Fall and Spring semester calendar.
Duties and Responsibilities: Tutor undergraduate students in Spanish grammar, writing and oral skills. Organize cultural events Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Native or near native language fluency in Spanish. Initiative and ability to develop, publicize and carry out, a cultural program for our students. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with US university system and teaching experience preferred.
