Responsibilities
• Plan and implement an instructional program• Provide related educational services for students• Manage student behavior and assess student achievement• Modify instructional activities as required• Carry out student monitoring and control activities• Serve as a general education classroom teacher• Work within a team or departmental setting• Possibly work independently in a unique teaching specialty• May be assigned to science labs or industrial arts/technology labs• Perform work under the general supervision of a principal or designated administrator
Requirements
• Ability to work in person and physically report for work on site• Possess teaching certification or qualifications• Experience in instructional planning and implementation• Knowledge of student behavior management• Ability to assess and evaluate student achievement• Flexibility to modify instructional activities• Ability to monitor and control student activities• Ability to work within a team or departmental setting• Possible experience in science labs or industrial arts/technology labs• Strong communication and organizational skills
