Coordinate and assist in scheduling and preparing cost estimates under the supervision of the Branch Office Manager/Department Manager.Work closely with personnel from other departments, as necessary, to ensure fulfillment of contract requirements.Assume responsibility for quality control to ensure surveys are correct and accurate.Make recommendations on hiring, evaluating, promotion and/or discipline of assigned crew members.Promote new business for the total company and for own area of expertise.What you will need to succeed: Licensure as a Massachusetts Professional Land Surveyor registration required, or licensure as a PLS by another New England state will be accepted while obtaining Massachusetts licensure through reciprocityBachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred but not requiredExperience in Boundary surveys, Topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, Land Court Surveys, Subdivisions and Construction Layout surveysThree years of experience as a PLS preferredWorking knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Civil 3D software experience is preferred. AutoCad is requiredStrong organizational skillsAbility to understand and follow written and oral instructions, ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writingValid driver's license & reliable transportation requiredA criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted.
