Our customers include real-estate brokers, real-estate agents, owners, and investors who need internet listing services and information to help them sell/purchase properties and track competitive trends.CoStar is currently seeking a full-timeSenior Software Engineerin our Austin, TX office where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting high performance and high availability web applications that drive the growth of our Land business unit. This position is located in Austin, Texas and offers the following hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.Responsibilities:Analyze technical requirements and design new components, web pages and controls to meet functional, performance and availability requirements.Design ASP.NET Core MVC based applications using React, Typescript, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript that are highly performant, maintainable and reusable.Design and develop using software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability.Apply software design patterns, sound quality management methods, tools, and techniques to create and support defect-free application software that meets the needs of the organization.Develop database performant queries and SQL scripts.Maintain and support existing products.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit university or collegeTrack record of commitment to prior employers5+ years of software development experience in a production environmentDemonstrated knowledge of JavaScript ES6 or Typescript or HTML5/CSSExperience working within an Agile team environmentDemonstrated knowledge of SOLID principals and design patternsWorking knowledge of C#, .NET DevelopmentPreferred QualificationsDemonstrated knowledge of SQL and performant query developmentExperience with software testing (Unit, Integration, Functional, Performance)Experience with Visual Studio or Azure DevOps or GitAbility to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas within and across teamsAbility to work well with other developers and managementAbility to juggle priorities and work with minimal supervision or assistance to complete tasksWhat's in it for You:When you join CoStar Group, you'll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
