Essential job duties include: Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes. Uses other hand tools such as wrenches and hammers. Tend pumps, compressors, and generators to provide power for tools, machinery, and equipment, or to heat and move materials such as asphalt. Set pedestals and handholes. Pull in conduit Fiber optic cable and copper cable. Operates potholing equipment. Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones. Cleans and prepare work sites to eliminate possible hazards. Enforces company and customer safety rules, guidelines, policies and procedures. Supports, complies with, and participates in HSE Program. Performs other duties as needed. Job Type: Full-time
