What you will do We are looking for an energetic and dedicated?Laboratory Technician Lead - Extraction Focused to join our growing dynamic team!? The ideal candidate will be driven, innovative, compassionate, believe in the goodness of people and cannabis, and enjoys the one team, one dream motto! The?Laboratory Technician - Extraction Focused?will assist manufacturing team in the production of cannabis based medicines.. This position reports directly to the Laboratory Manager.
Highlighted Responsibilities Perform all listed responsibilities and duties of an extraction technician.
Tracking and allocation of material in lab and lab processes.
Training new employees on extraction SOP's and techniques.
Perform extraction of material when necessary.
Assist lab manager in any R&D projects for new product or product development.
Keep organized record of all procedures and results.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Able to work independently as well as operating as a team.
Attends safety meetings as required.
Able to setup, maintain and repair equipment and train employees on the same.
Perform other tasks as requested.
Qualifications Must be 21 years or older
Associates Degree Preferred
3+ years of experience in chemical processing and equipment use.
Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
Able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds or more.
Attention to detail.
Able to lead and work well with team.
