Job Summary IA Construction has an opening for a Quality Control Laboratory Technician at our Clarion Asphalt Plant.
Main Responsibilities Responsible for efficient bituminous asphalt testing, asphalt content and gradation, maximum theoretical density of mix and specific gravity of compacted mix. Be engaged and aware in safety and actively participate in Daily Safety Huddles Aggregate material testing, sampling, absorption, LA Abrasion, specifications, un-compacted voids, Sodium / Magnesium Loss, crush counts Inventory products, QC sampling, schedules, specifications, testing, gradations, and crush gravity of compacted mix efficiently Bituminous mix design development, complete overview of Pennsylvania design processes for HMC and WMA as per job specifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent experience
