We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant to become a key member of our health care team. At the heart of VMH Laboratory Services are caring, skilled professionals dedicated to the pursuit of excellence and quality medical care.
Duties for the Laboratory Assistant include performing phlebotomies, EKG's, waived lab procedures, answering phones and other various clerical duties. We offer a professional network where staff can work together, serve as resources for one another and engage in system-wide problem solving.
This is a 0.75 FTE with excellent benefits. Hours for this Laboratory Assistant position are primarily 3-4 days per week, Day and PM shifts (varying between 5:00 am - 10:30 pm) with rotating weekends and holidays. Phlebotomy experience preferred but we are willing to train the right individual! Medical Assistant, phlebotomy certification or related a plus.
