Responsibilities
• Provide expert legal advice on employment laws and compliance issues• Handle employment-related litigation, discrimination claims, compliance issues, and more• Represent client employment interests in courts, agencies, and arbitration proceedings• Advise clients on labor relations matters and occasional union negotiations• Have working knowledge of NLRB rules and regulations
Requirements
• Active membership in good standing with the MD State Bar• Litigation experience is a must• Experience practicing labor and employment law with a focus on employer representation• Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and communication skills• Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and handle a high volume of cases• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
