Lab Technician

Location: Bend OR
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Contract Length: 12 months How will you make an impact?
The lab technician will provide support for scientists in a fast-paced and dynamic R&D and GMP laboratory areas. Your contributions will aid in advancing therapies for patients in need. What will you do? Clean laboratory glassware, dispose waste, and maintain an orderly laboratory. Prepare various solutions including dissolution media, diluents, and mobile phases. Support inventory, ordering, and stocking of supplies. Issue and review laboratory notebooks, logbooks, and other documentation. Support stability set downs, pulls, and disposals. Perform verifications on basic analytical equipment (balances, pipettes, pH meter). Follows Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED. No experience required; laboratory experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Good attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel). Typically requires standing and walking for a shift. Occasionally requires lifting of up to 20 pounds. Requires manual dexterity and visual abilities.
