What does a Lab Technician 1 (SUD/UA Testing Specialist) do? As a Part Time Lab Technician 1 at Wasatch Behavioral Health's Male Only Testing Center in Provo, Utah, you will play a crucial role in conducting forensic quality analysis and preliminary testing for drugs and alcohol. Your meticulous work will provide reliable data to programs and agencies, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of substance abuse testing results. By following chain-of-custody and Utah County Division of Substance Abuse Drug Testing Laboratory processes, you will perform immunoassay screening for drugs of abuse and observe clients during sample collection to prevent tampering. You will operate and maintain the V-twin Biochemical analyzer with precision, analyze data in compliance with regulatory guidelines, and maintain strict confidentiality of client information in our database.
