POSITION SUMMARY: As a Building Products Lab Technician, you're vital to our commitment to quality.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Receive client samples into the lab,
· Review and comply with lab work orders,
· Prepare specimens for testing,
· Conduct assigned testing,
· Prepare test data for transfer to technical department,
· Work to maintain lab equipment and facilities,
· Report on projects and lab actvities as directed,
· Comply with lab operations manual and business management system.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification
· High school diploma - two- or four-year technical field degree a plus.
Experience
· Working within a team environment,
· Ability to understand and comply with lab operations manual and relevant company policies and procedures,
· Experience working with woodworking tools,
· Knowledge of construction methods is a plus.
