Description: This role involves generating, analyzing, and interpreting data related to testing performance to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of laboratory operations. The Laboratory Testing Performance Analyst plays a crucial role in identifying trends, optimizing processes, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall testing performance.
Generate, compile, and analyze data related to laboratory testing performance, including test results, turnaround times, error rates, and quality control metrics.
Interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide actionable insights to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and maintain performance dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor laboratory testing performance.
Create and update work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation to reflect current best practices, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in laboratory operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, statistics, data science, or related field.
Experience in a laboratory environment, with a focus on data analysis, performance monitoring, or quality assurance.
Solid understanding of laboratory testing methodologies, quality control principles, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CLIA, ISO 15189).
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and outliers in data and draw actionable insights.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information and insights to diverse audiences.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
