Our state-of-the-art Kitchens department located in La Crosse, WI produces over 40 different food products for approximately 800+ retail stores. Kwik Trip customers are able to enjoy everything from our soups, salads, sandwiches to our Pothole Pizzas. With our expansion we are now able to offer a variety of Take Home Meals and finished fruit and vegetable products, all prepared daily by our Kitchens team.
Join our Kitchens team as a Material Handler/Runner . The primary responsibilities for this position include:
Bringing product in from the warehouse to supply the production lines Removing finished product from the production room Opening and breaking down cardboard boxes General housekeeping in the production room (e.g. sweeping, changing garbages, compacting cardboard, etc.) Work Schedules: Monday through Friday working 5:00am to 1:00pm Wednesday through Saturday working 5:00am to 3:00pm Qualifications: Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks Work well with others Possess basic math aptitude Read, understand and interpret numbers Cycle count ingredients on a schedule Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen areas Work in a fast paced environment ; work in a safety conscious environment Work up to 10+ hours Physical qualifications: lift/carry up to 60 pounds to 60 inches; lift/carry 40 pounds to 76 inches; push/pull 60 pounds of force; bend, twist, reach, stoop frequently; work in varying -20 – 44 degree F temperatures.
