Responsibilities: Everything behind the swinging door during the shift Always delivering crave-able food, in a timely manner, that meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A Quality Requirements Coaching the behaviors of all Leaders and Team Members who work in the Kitchen Have a hustle that creates surprisingly fast Speed of Service Attention to detail that ensures preparation and production procedures are followed Execution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environment Maintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food safety Vigilant attention to the organization and appearance of the kitchen Ensuring the kitchen is ready for a Backstage Tour with a four-minute lead time Daily assign kitchen crew to positions and ensure all pickup/delivery orders are made in a timely manner Coaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all Kitchen Team Members Aligning daily practices of the Kitchen with the Vision of the organization and with the Goals of the organization Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment used in the Kitchen Either repair "in-house" or call appropriate repair person for broken equipment within 24 hours of notification of problem Track and eliminate waste of food  Responsible for team building, and coaching members of the Kitchen Team Responsible for all checklists, truck orders, and produce orders Needs for Success: Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills Good communication skills both written and verbal Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, customer and associate levels Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting and computational practices Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office programs, e-mail, and the Internet Ability to perform various motor skills, such as lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, grasping and arm-hand coordination on a continuous basis Ability to multi-task as well as stay on task and concentrate with constant interruptions Strong client relationship skills Characteristics: Team mindset Work with the existing team well Integrity Heart Supports the vision of the restaurant Leads by example Builds relationships Good communication Able to take vision, goals, core values, and all information from leaders and communicate to each team member Servant leadership Qualifications:  High school degree is required. BA/BS in Food Service or Culinary Management is preferred A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the hospitality industry Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational practices Demonstrates loyalty, integrity, motivation, trustworthiness, dependability, empathy, and professionalism A passion for people and service Able to lead, coach and delegate a team of individuals in a fast-paced environment Ability to develop others Eagerness to learn and improve yourself A commitment to quality in everything you do Open Availability ServSafe Certification preferred Benefits:  Sundays off!
